Attention: Members, Parents, Class Coordinators and Chapter Presidents:
We have added three new chapters in Orange County, California: Rancho Santa Margarita, Newport Beach, and Anaheim Hills. If you have family or friends in these areas, please encourage them to enroll starting onFebruary 1st.
For those Members in the Foothill Ranch, Ladera Ranch, and Trabuco-Coto chapters, please be clear with your friends who are interested in enrolling which chapter they should join.. We don’t want anyone to be disappointed if they are assigned to a different chapter, as there are no changes until a Member has been in Lion’s Heart a year.
For those returning Members who wish to transfer to a different chapter or group, this can be done online starting May 1st if dues have been paid, and all other requirements to continue are met. Also, transfers are only allowed if leaving the current group does not drop the group count below four Members. There is a fee to transfer.
Something else to keep in mind, no awards events are held for chapters with fewer than 150 Members. Qualified Members in smaller chapters do receive awards but there is no event. Only Trabuco-Coto, Ladera Ranch, and Ridgefield chapters will be having an awards event in 2014.
